KIDS BEGINNING SEWING

KIDS BEGINNING SEWING Thumbnail This four class series is designed for students to master some basic sewing skills through a different project each class. We teach two students at a time to provide more attention and instruction. Students register for the dates that work for their family, and the instructor records each student's completed projects.

Students learn how to thread the shop sewing machine and begin to sew even seams by constructing a felt coaster, tote bag, stuffed pincushion or creature and a reversible apron. Students earn a sewing merit badge for each completed project in this series.

Upon completion of this series, students are eligible to participate in the four class Next Steps Sewing series.

Cancellation policy: You must give us at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling a class. We can not offer refunds or class credits for last minute cancellations, as your cancellation might result in the class minimum being too low. We need to be able to give the other students, our wait list customers, and our teachers 24 hours notice of any changes, so we need that from you as well. In some cases you can discuss your extenuating circumstances directly with the teacher and possibly arrange a make up day with them. Thank you for your consideration!
